The 2019-2020 Board of Directors for Orange County Advisors in Philanthropy held its first strategic planning session in August 2019. I am deeply impressed with the caliber and commitment of the board in providing educational programs that enhance the skillset of professional advisors in encouraging and supporting their clients’ philanthropic journey.
In planning the year ahead, we are sticking to a strict schedule with programs that support our mission. In January, April, July and October, we will hold Member Mixers with an educational component. Our signature Speaker Series events, which feature exceptional speakers and learning opportunities, will take place in February, May, August and November. And, finally, our small discussion group, Lunch & Learn series, are happening in March, June, September and December. Ideally, we will be able to schedule these to take place on a consistent days/weeks. There may be a few bonus programs, too. We have lots of ideas!
We truly are excited to advance a plan that prioritizes insightful learning experiences on a regular basis.
