12/10/2015 – OCAIP Lunch and Learn
As we enter the holiday season, giving to family, friends, and to those in need begin to occupy our thoughts. And there are so many worthy causes that are near and dear to each of us: animal welfare, education, environment, health, human rights, hunger/homelessness, oceans/water, social services, and veterans to name a few. Where to begin?
Orange County Advisors in Philanthropy (OCAiP) invites members to our December 10 Lunch and Learn discussion on enhancing client and personal year-end giving:
- What is a good gift?
- Where can you best allocate your giving?
- What are some local needs to support?
- Sharing about your giving/volunteering
Our lunch discussion is sponsored by Richard Ward, First Vice President/Investments at Stifel. Thank you Richard for your sponsorship, and partnership with OCAiP.
The discussion will be facilitated by Bailey Cuzner. Bailey is the President and Founder of Abel Impact, a consulting firm that helps businesses create philanthropic strategies and cause marketing campaigns. Bailey’s professional background is in social entrepreneurship, marketing, non-profit management, sales, fundraising, public relations, and journalism. She spent years working in the non-profit space and with over two hundred business leaders who she led into a life of philanthropy, purpose, and impact before deciding to branch out on her own, further exploring the intersection between business and philanthropy. Bailey has worked with companies like Google, Bovespa, MasterCard, Umami Burger, Club Corp, and many others.
